I am currently looking for a job in computer programming, so that's the focus of the website at the moment, and I’m
excited to give you more information on my skills, training, and interests.
In August, 2020, I graduated from Claim Academy where I received my certification as a C#/.NET Software Developer. I
expanded my knowledge of C# and Java and learned HTML, CSS and JavaScript as well as how to use them in ASP.NET
framework. I also learned how to make entity frameworks and how to use them with ADO.NET MVC. For the other languages
I'm familiar with, and my experience working with them, please take a look at my resume.
Before I went to Claim, I graduated from South Western Illinois College with an Associate of Arts degree.
I am currently taking three classes through Harvard University's online program, HarvardX. They are Data science using
R, CS50's Introduction to Artificial Intelligence with Python, and CS50's Introduction to Game Development.
My passion is programming. I love working through problems and watching a concept come to life in front of me. I find
that the best way to keep things exciting is always to be learning something new. For example, at the time of writing
this, I’m learning how to integrate virtual reality into this website. I'm also designing a financial planning website
for my mom's business. I'm excited to keep pushing my knowledge and discovering what I can do next.
Yes, I'm a geek and proud of it. But I was also a Navy kid and moved around a lot in my childhood, so I'm adaptable and
very accustomed to meeting new people and trying new things. I consider myself a team player who would be excited to
become part of a collaboration.
